On February 17th President Obama signed the “American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009” into law. This economic stimulus package has provisions specifically designed to revitalize the housing market. The plan from the Treasury to mitigate foreclosures and encourage new lending is also targeted at stimulating the housing market.
